Sprinkles of Blessings

Have you ever had a cupcake or cookie with sprinkles on it? Most of us have! It just makes you smile! My kids go nuts for sprinkles whenever we bake cookies or cakes. I have caught them with the sprinkle shaker bottoms up and tongues out filling themselves with sugary goodness! I particularly like the colored sugar type that kinda sparkles when you sprinkle it on. Even though I love the way the sprinkles look, I don't always like the way they taste. Well, I kinda feel like that when I find a verse that really strikes my heart. It is kinda like God pouring little sparkling sprinkles on my day! Some days God sprinkles me with super inspirational words that I feel like I am really running the spiritual marathon of life and my race time is at a great pace. Other spiritual sprinkles, while still beautiful, may not taste so nice. You know those ones like "love your enemy" and "do everything without complaining."
